Hot to Reach Lepchajagat

The nearest railway station to this village is New Jalpaiguri Junction (NJP) at a distance of around 75 km. The nearest airport is located at Bagdogra. The approximate distance between the airport and Lepcha Jagat is 72 km. Renting a car in NJP, Bagdogra, or Siliguri will get you to Lepchajagat quite comfortably. You can also take a shared jeep from Siliguri or NJP to Ghoom. The sumos traveling to Darjeeling will drop you off in Ghoom. You can either take another shared jeep or get a full vehicle from Ghoom. It can be difficult to find a shared jeep from Ghoom to Lepchajagat. Darjeeling is around 13 km away from Lepchajagat, and you may reach there by renting a car from the Darjeeling Chowk Bazar Taxi Stand. If there isn't a shared car available to take you to Lepchajagat, take one to Ghoom and then another to Lepchajagat.
