Teesta Bazar is a tiny village on the right bank of the Teesta River, 4 kilometers downstream from the industrial town of Melli. Teesta originates from Tso Lhamo Lake in North Sikkim at an elevation of 5330 meters, whereas Rangeet flows from Mount Kabrue's glacier in the lower Kanchenjunga region. Both meet in a location close to Teesta Bazar in the end. Many nature enthusiasts have been drawn to Teesta Bazar by the sight of the river Rangeet bursting with deep green and crystal clear water and meeting the powerful mountain stream Teesta at a site called Triveni near Teesta Bazar.
Teesta Bazar and its surrounding can be explored quite comfortably without worrying about how to plan an itinerary if you opt for a pre-planned package that includes all the required services for a hassle-free holiday.

Thankas, crockery, daggers, footwear, lanterns, copper things, silver wares, jewelry, and food items can all be found at reasonable prices in the market.
The Indian Army patrols the majority of Teesta Bazar because it is a crucial border location. While shopping for crafted things at Teesta Bazar, the long valley at the foot of the mountains provides a wonderful view. Teesta Bazar not only provides travelers with an amazing view of the confluence of the rivers Teesta and Rangeet as well as a colorful riot of various crafted goods, but it is also a place where adventurers can try water sports such as white river rafting against the backdrop of the green lofty mountains.
